The company I am involved in is manufacturing these models for Carribbean and Latin American distribution, Trace (Xantrex) has a pretty good service program, but local representatives have not been honoring the service agreement satisfactorily so we are working on a program to consolidate it and handle warrantee service on a factory level.
If you have any serious issues with your Trace Inverters you can bring them to me for instant exchange. I realise this is still along ways from convenient what with installation/deinstallation still being a consideration, but it is a stopgap measure that will be improved later.
