thinking about moving to santiago

thinking about this move for a long time is there any work for a
sous chef in in american cuisne i live in puerto rico do i need to know someone to open any doors for me i would like a new challenge in life i know the pay wont be the same but the exp would be great i have been to santiago and love the place

I would be great to see a new chef in town.

What most of them do is open their own place....
There is only one hotel, and maybe two come next year, that could afford a good chef and the one already has its own chefs anyway. You would need to network. But do not think that Santiago will be able to keep you in food and housing..

Hotels on the North Shore or out in the East might be a better place for you.. I think an exploratory visit would be in order for you to make a change...
