New Years Eve Celebrations: North Coast

Heyas,

I've been lurkin on this board for roughly 2 years now and I have never been able to find info on new years eve celebrations. As we are going to be arriving on Dec. 30th I was wondering if anyone could inform me as to whats going on at various bars in Sosua, Cabarete or even Puerto Plata. We are staying at the Breezes but would be willing to travel for the party.

Also, another question is how hard is it to get reliable (preferably sober) cab service back to the hotel on new years?

Cutie - DR1er Palmas (Anabela & Alex) are arriving from Windsor, ON on the 30th too; maybe you'll be on the same flight? Be sure and call the cell # of post above if you want to join about 30 of us in Cabarete.

there is a bassh at Rocky's, too

According to Escott there will be a large group at Rocky's.

All the champaign, open bar, plus a steak dinner, and bubbly until dawn...

Sounds tempting, huh?

I've read the posts you directed me to.. how silly of me to miss it as it is so lengthy!!

We won't be meeting you's for dinner as we are staying at the resort with ma for that part of it but I'm sure we'll make it into town after midnight!
