Left Palm: Lose money, or pay bills. Right palm: Come into money. Are your ears burning? Somebody's talkin' about you. Knock on wood it's good news!

Anybody have more uniquely Dominican ones? Alba told me New Year's Eve it was bad luck for the New Year if I wore old clothes, and not something purchased new for the evening.

Dominican fucus,

- bats wants to get your blood
- all snakes have poison and are deadly dangerous
- baby's hickups stop immediately when a twisted thread is put on their forehead
- ghoasts and witches really exist
- a woman while having their period can't be barefeet on a wet floor
- getting wet from rain can be deadly
- if somebody has a 'vision' it really will happend one day
- birthcontrol doesn't exist, it's God's will if you get pregnant or not
- you need to wear new cloths on Jan 1st or you will have bad luck
- Motoconchos with helmet can't have an accident

New year- eat twelve grapes for good luck all year round.

if you break something at the begining of the year you'll have good luck.
