furnished apt for rent July-August

Hi, I need to rent a furnished apt in Santo Domingo for the months of July and August. I visited DR for a few days in May and checked out a couple of apart-hotels, but I didn't really like them. For example, I thought Apart-Hotel Aladino was rather a crappy place for which the US$200-a-week fee was clearly expensive. And it has a sign that reads "no visits after 9pm"! I'm going there for work, but I'm not a monk.

Any suggestions? My budget will probably be around $600 a month.
