WE ARE GETTING READY TO BOOK A VACATION TO THE DR. WE STAYED AT THE BAHIA LAST YEAR AND WE REALLY ENJOYED IT. DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE RAMADA? IS THE WATER CLEARER THERE COMPARED TO THE BAHIA? IS THERE AS MUCH TO DO THERE? THEY ARE BOTH THE SAME PRICE, SO WE ARE HAVING A PROBLEM DECIDING.

Well, Ramada POP, was recently re-furbished so its probably close or equal to the level of Bahia Principe - in terms of the conditions in rooms and food, etc. The water is not clear, but you are close to town and there are many more activities and things to do then by Bahia Principe.
