I am a Canadian, I run adult websites from my home.
No child porn or anything like that, infact its not even really porn as its nude wrestling.
Being REALLY sick of winter , I would like to relocate to the Dominican Republic, at least 8 months a year. Would I be allowed to use my computer in the Dominican Republic to update my sites, and by this I am not talking about doing any of the website action in DR. MY servers are in The Czech republic.
Also since I get paid by direct deposit by a Dutch company called Verotel in US dollars, is it easy to obtain a US finds account even though I am Canadian?
AND, sorry for so many demands in one post... how much would it cost for a decent 4-5 room appartment ?

Hello,

I am a Dominican living in Canada, I have been inquiring on prices to pay for an apartment since I am going to invest in my country.
I have properties in Santo Domingo (apartments)a if you are interested.
Prices varies depending where you want to stay.
Ex: in Puerto Plata you could get a 41/2 for approx. CDN 400. in Santo Domingo is about 500 CDN depending in the sector and luxury.
I am planing on investing in something in Puerto Plata because it's the place to invest rigth now for tourist. in the future I will look at Samana and Punta Cana which it is starting to develop; and at the end Barahona.
I am open to any legal business since that's what I like if anyone is interested.

Nothing illegal, just want to make sure I am allowed to publish "adult" material from the Dominican Republic...I won't be filming stuff there or anything...just working from there. But as it is an important part of my revenue I want to be sure this is allowed.
I am presently along with my sister & brother in law purchasing a building in Quebec...which will be finalised in July, and which will be our homebase here in Canada.We Also wish to run a software store in that building.
But I would really love to have an appartment in the DR also, and we would even be interested in organising a group and actually purchasing,administrating and living and occupying a complex in the DR. ..this 6-8 months a year.
But could be that in the short term I would just like to rent an inexpensive appartment close to everything,specially the beach and that wouldn't require me to own a car as I don't wish to have a car if I move there.
$400-500$ CND is a very interesting price for me but seems an underestimation if I base it on most of what I have read on this site. At 400- 500$ and with access to the beach, markets and have the possibilty to purchase Broadband internet adn satelite TV...I will react sooner than later!
