Hi, I have 2 kids who are insulin dependant. will it be a problem bringing insulin and needles to the dr? thanks!

Needles are readily avalable over the counter in any drug store. Just bought 20 today myself.

Should be no problem with the insulin. Carry a prescription just in case, but chances are your bags won't even be checked.

thanks! I will do that. we went to mexico 2 years ago and had no problem. I just want everything to go smoothly,and since I have never been there, I don't know what to expect! ellen

I can personally vouch for Ken's reply

One of my mechanics is insulin dependent and every now and then I have to go and get him some. No problem..

There is no problem with bringing insulin into the country as a matter of fact the customs official may even ask for little for a family member or something, given the current situation in the D.R.
