Last week on Friday January 16th, a tourist was hit by a bus on the main highway somewhere between Barcello Capella and Boca Chica. I was a passenger on one of the buses and witnessed as the man was struck while crossing the busy highway to get on a second bus. I have been unable to get this incident out of my mind and although I tried to get information until I left on Sunday no one seemed to have heard or seen anything about this accident. The gentleman's wife and two bystanders also looked on in horror as this accident happened. I was watching him and saw his face as it registered what was about to happen and watched in horror as he flew through the air and landed on the highway. The bus I was on just drove away past him as he lay on the highway. I am looking for anyone who may have heard about this accident and would be really grateful to know if the gentleman survived the accident. I have been praying for his survival every day since but fear the worst.
