Anyone have any thoughts on Sosua as a vacation destination?
Recommendations on 'things to do in town'?
Any 'can't miss' things?
Hangouts?
etc.

Thanks.

p.s. if i brought a female 'friend' from the states with me on my sosua vacation, would that be like bringing sand to the beach?

I am just going to sit back and enjoy this thread because a couple of months ago when i joined this forum everything was new(ish) to me and now after having watched similar threads come and go, I can guess how everyone will answer you.

They will mention - Eddys Bar, snorkelling, whores, everything! LOL
Sosua IS a nice resort, many ex-pats, lovely beach, great for snorkelling, good nightlife and also PLENTY of things to do down the road in nearby Cabarete. People might even recommend Cabarete to you, with its long beach, nightlife and....... well..... I will let everyone else tell you.

Wherever you end up, you will enjoy yourself!

You can bring a female friend from the states and have a terrific time in Sosua/Cabarete/Puerto Plata. Plenty of restaurants, beaches, snorkeling, good nightlife, a few casinos, golf etc.

If you come solo or with male friends you will have an even better time.
