I posted this once already - I think I screwed up on submitting the message.
We used to go under a nickname (being anonymous had it's advantages when asking stupid questions).
Thanks to everyone for their help recently - we listened to what you had to say and then went ahead and did it our way instead! No doubt someday, someone will say "I told you so" - but life's too short!
We had never been to DR before, we did our homework before we arrived, we walked straight into the real estate agents offices and a few days later we had bought our lovely new house (fingers crossed)! near Sosua / Cabarete.
Thanks to Peter Holden for putting up with us and to all his friends who we probably bored to tears by constantly bombarding with thousands of questions!
See you in April. - We're staying for good.
Oh - and if anyone in Britain is thinking of buying a house, come on down!
