I did a Search & Advanced Search, and only got 1 hit, from 4/2000.
It did not help much.

I need some info on taking Metro Buss, from SD, to POP.
Anybody know the schedule leaving?
Is the office still on Avenue Winston Churchill?
A phone# maybe a recent price?
Does it still stop in Santiago, on the way?

To all who answer, it is Greatly Appreciated!!!

Thanks

Metro

I took the Metro from POP to SD and back the middle of January. It was 170 pesos each way.

As I recall, the departures were 7,9,11, 2 and I think 6:30. Sorry, I am not totally certain about the times.

Metro's daily departure times from SD to POP are:

7am
9am
11am
2pm
4pm
5pm
6:30pm
7pm

However, it's safer to call and confirm again at 566-7126 as things may change.

Yes, it's located on Ave. Churchill right behind Plaza Central.

Timex, I was told that if the buses are not almost full, they will not depart and would leave at the next schedule time. Maybe I am wrong, but I was told that. I also heard that Caribe does not do that. Again, I may be wrong.

Both Metro and Caribe Tours have fixed departure hours and usually stick to them.

The ones that won't depart unless filled are the road-side guaguas and other less established ones such as ASOTRASAMP... (betwwen SD and SPM).

Make sure to bring a jacket as both Metro and Caribe Tours love to blast the air conditioning beyond comfort level.
