Purchase real estate

I am looking into purchasing a small hotel in Cabarete, and providing adventure trips to that area for groupe of upto 20. I will be providing accommodation along with activities and transportation.
My main area of marketing will be to 18- 40 year olds in the eastern part of the United States.
My question's are
Do you think this is a good time because of the ecconomy to start this and can you give me advise as to financing part of the real estate purchase through a Dominican bank.
