Hi,
my husband & I are planning our 1st visit to DR at the beginning of May after going to Aruba for the past 4 years.
We are planning on staying at the Viva Wyndham beach near La Romana, has anyone been there? any comments?
Are there any trip that are a must do/avoid?
Basically any tip would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

If it is your first trip to the Dr , don't you think you would rather enjoy staying in a private condo or a villa instead of the All Inclusive resort, where you really don't get the feel of the country and it's people.

I am sure you will enjoy the Dr , it is a wonderful place and cities like Sosua and Cabarete are a much better choice for your trip. Just my 2 cents. ;)
