It's probably a stupid question but what does LOL stand for?
I've seen it in a lot of posts but haven't yet fiqured it out.

LOL = Laughing outloud
LMAO = Laughing my *** off
IMO = In my opinion
IMHO = In my honest opinion
BTW = By The Way

There are tons of others and you will learn them as you get more familiar with forums and chat rooms.

LOL means "laughing out loud"

Spanish kids chatting in Spanglish! I know that "K" is shorthand for "que" but not much else...Pib, you spend too much time in the English language. Cuentame, como esta la vida casada?? (note to Rob: when can we get a symbols menu for Spanish?)

I was hoping to share with my students on-line. The best I can do is "jajajaja" and they love that.
