Anybody online in Santiago?

Please help provide information on local internet services in Santiago. Would like to know what kinds of services are available there -- costs, speeds, reliability of phone service, etc.

Hello. If you would like to find people to chat with in the Dominican you can find a lot of them on ICQ. This is a great place to find a lot of nice and helpfull people there.

Could someone explain what is the ICQ

ICQ is a free live chat service provided by Mirabilis. It is one of the best programs I have in my computer and it takes very little space. You are informed when freinds are online, you can send them an instant message that they receive directly on their desk top, or you can requset a chat with them and chat in real time, you can link up with others and have a three way chat. Anyway this is one way I speak to my best freind in the DR every couple of days and I am in NY.
