Looking for Whitewater

I will be staying in Punta Cana in late April and am very interested in kayaking one of the Dominican Republic's whitewater rivers, particularly the Yaque Del Norte. Unfortunately, the only outfitter that I can find is on the North Coast, which is too far of a commute. If anyone knows of a closer river of interest, and/or a South Coast outfitter who rents whitewater kayaks and can provide a guide, it would be greatly appreciated.
