North american has poor quality ro certain areas, but
I have flown North American for over 30,000 miles. Mostly the cabins were cramped and the service poor.
However on my four flights to the DR (2r/t) the same was true on American, and on two Charter flights from SDO to La romana one was horrible,(but it was last mnute emergency plane to "rescue us" (see below*) one was great. and *one did not show up to bring us back to SDO.
Airlines provide the best service on new routes and ones they must compete for. Service differs on different routes with the same airline.
