Hello again,
This question may need a specialist ( a pharmacist ) to answer it, or a good doer who doesn't mind walking to the next pharmacy to pose them the question, then send the answer.
It is vital for me to know if these medicines are available or should I bring them with me, taking in consideration that I will be using them daily and for years during my stay in DR.
If they are available, an idea about the price would be much appreciated.
The medicines I am asking about are the following:
Allopurinol 100 mg, Lercan 10 mg, Kardegic 160 mg, Coaprovel 300/12,5 mg, Acebutolol 200 mg. If necessary I can give the name of the manufacturing laboratory for any and all of the medicines, Your help may be a life saver.
Thanking you all in advance.

Are you living in France? I ask becuae googling these names return almost nothing but French (and Swedish and Czech) web sites. In any case post the generic names not these trade names as most drugs are not sold under trade names (well except Viagra) and will have Spanish versions of the generic name instead.

Example: Coaprovel is Irbesartan (which is Avapro in North America). Or, you might want Cipro, which is actually ciprofoxacin, and in the DR is called ciprofloxacina. lercan seems to be LERCANIDIPINE CHLORHYDRATE

I think the alopurinol and acebutolol are generic names already. Buy these, if available in a good sized pharmacy ( in the capital for example) make sure of expiry dates(recommended the bubble packs not bottles) and if they are truly life or death I'd bring some from home as you test if these are up to par.

What part of the DR are you likely to be residing in? If it is the North Coast, PM or e-mail me with the list by generic name, what affliction the drug is designed to combat & I will put this in front of a couple of Pharmacists & an American doctor here to see what is available!! - Grahame.

Thank you ricktoronto for your answer, which sounds as comming from a specialist.
Yes I am living in France. and you are right about alopurinol and acebutolol being the generic names under which they are sold here, the other medicines are: Lercan 10 mg (LERCANDIPINE CHLORHYDRATE as you said), Coaprovel 300/12,5 mg (IRBESARTAN/HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE) which is a combination of 2 medicines, and Kardegic 160 mg (Acetylsalicylate de DL-Lysine) which is some form of Aspirin.
I had in mind bringing with me a provision for about 3 months, but if these medicines are not available in DR then I may buy a supply for a minimum of a year and try to make arrangements with somebody here to send me periodically a small quantity every month if the postal service in DR is working properly, which I don't know, as I got no information about this matter yet.
I appreciate your help very much, thank you again.

Thank you Graham for your cooperation and offer of help, As for the generic names, please read my answer to ricktoronto.
These are drugs used for the treatment of Hypertension and Gout, and I do not recommend their use without medical advice.

Have them, if you need more , use FedEx or DHL and not the mail unless you want a Dominican postal worker to take your pills.
