Does anyone know where I can arrange a fishing trip out of Juan Dolio. We will be staying in Jaun Dolio and Bayahibe. We would like to go out and do some local fishing, but on a little bit bigger boat that just a little skiff. Maybe something 25+ feet. Also, any good hiking or river rafting things we can do from this are too would be nice.

Do a search on Metro Hotel in Juan Dolio. They have a small dock with a fair-sized charter boat.

Metro Hotel Juan Dolio, who is part of Best Western, has a marina with 3 ocean going boats, from 40 to 44 feet, last year they charge us $150usd per person for half a day including lunch, but you have to be in a group of minimum 4 people. Good fun and good fishing.
