I am in the process of booking now for June and i am finding the prices to be 15% less than i have paid in the last 3 years. Its almost as low as a price i paid for my honeymoon in '98.

Has anyone else found this to be the case? I wonder why.

The value of the Dominican Peso had dropped over 100% in the last year!

To bad they are only passing 15% of that on to you! Those of us who work in the DR aren't seeing any of it! So spend lots of money outside your "AI",in the Local economy,ok? CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC

devalued peso

Again, it's just the Dominican peso that has become practically worthless (2.27 cents US right now)...by all means be glad you are getting that 15% advantage right now and go out and spend it outside the AI as CrissColon says....Enjoy! :p

When I went to SD on Feb, I booked 7 days prior to departure and had to pay over US $800. I checked this moring and if I want to go to SD on May 6th, I can get a non-stop round trip for, get this, US $397.40. Not bad.
