In two weeks a commission from the United States Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) will visit the Dominican Republic in order to evaluate Dominican civil
aviation. Dominican Civil Aeronautics believes that the country will moved up
from its category III status. ?The last report from the International Civil
Aviation Organization was very promising?, according to a Civil Aeronautics
statement. On this occasion, the FAA delegation will decide on the certification
of the Higuero Airport.
