Dominican Pesos - UK

Hiya

Nope thats not true. I took some pesos back to my travel agent to be changed back to pounds last week and they changed them no problem. They just wouldn't accept 10 peso notes or anything less. So as long as you don't bring loads of small notes back you'll be fine!

Since the original question asked about cashing pesos in the UK, if you cash US cheques or cash in the UK I doubt they will give you pesos, probably either US or pounds. If you cash them in the DR (not "the Dominican") you'll get pesos which is kind of the point of cashing them at a cambio.


Where did you hear there was a ban on bringing in pesos to the UK? Or anywhere else for that matter?
