Can anyone give me advice on digital video camera rentals here in the DR (I'm in the capital)?
I would like to rent a PD150 or something comparable for 5-7 days for a documentary project I am working on, and I'd prefer to avoid having to go to the US to rent the camera. I haven't had much luck going through my networks, so I'm thinking of contacting some of the media for advice. I would be willing to hire a camera person with his/her own camera if I could find the right person. Also, I have no idea what a reasonable local day rate might be for this sort of thing.
