We are aiming to relocate to the DR in November. Can anybody help, as we will require to rent a property to start with for one year, in the Sosua or Puerto Plata area. We have inquired about one property its in Palm Hills, we think this might be a bit too expensive for us as we would be living on a budget. We have taken peoples advice and we aim to rent for a year, get to know the people of the area, cope with and survive culture shock, settle in. Just give ourselves six to eight months to decide whether we are to buy a property remain, and build some sort of business. There will be three adults and a child. So maybe an ideal property would be a place with two bedrooms and maybe a guest house on the end, Maybe a condo. possibly security, internet will be a must, this will be our life line. We are to be in the DR in October to get married. So we hope to meet some of you dr1ers, it would be nice to put a voice to some of your photo`s and names. Any advise as to helping us move would be graciously received. Over the past few months we have seen people being ripped to shreds on this site, but we know your not such a bad bunch, and you will help us if you can, so I will take this opportunity to thank you.
