I am headed down to Santiago and even talked to a friend there but he never heard of the museum.

Does anyone know where in Santiago is the Tomas Morel Museum of Folkloric Art?

Thanks in advance.

The Restauraci?n St is one way East to West. The museum is on the left side after you pass 30 de Marzo light, and then, the big intersection and light at General L?pez-the street that goes to the bridge.

Good sport to see really "local" stuff.

Any other suggestions

HB,

I will be in Santiago for 6 days, any other suggestions on stuff to see? I have made a list so far...

Museum of the City of Santiago
Parque Duarte
Mercado
Tobacco Museum
Cigar Factory
Tomas Morel Folkloric Museum
Kaskada Aqua Park
Palacio Consistorial
Monument to the Heros
Calle del Sol

Thanks,

Well

I don't think that the Tobacco Museum is open any longer.
Go to Centro Le?n on Ave 27 de Febrero
You can see tobacco rolling there, too.
You should go to the PUCMM and walk around. The library is full of good art, and the campus has some nice "eye-candy"

You mentioned eye candy at the university, is there a summer schedule? I am leaving next week.
