We will prob buy a property outright for approx $120000 so will be mortgage free.there are only 2 adults.will we be able to live comfy on $1200 per month between us there??
Heard lots about the weather.Over last 12 mnths in North of Dominican whats it been like,ie storms? gale force winds? property damage? hurricanes??

will leave it at 2 for moment but have lots more to ask over comming weeks

What's His Name?

You're moving to the "Dominican" , which means a person there, so who is it and won't he be uncomfortable with you living on him? He may want to get up and walk around, etc.

There are about a million posts on how much is enough and how much do things cost so search first then ask. $1,200 US is marginally adequate, house free and clear, I would not want to do it on so little.

You can read all about hurricanes and such in the past and their forecasts and watches at the NHC site operated by NOAA. It's the tropics, they have tropical storms, you'll live.

Costs of living has just about tripled in the last two years. Can't say which way things are headed now.
Where do you want to live?
