We fly in and out of SDQ, stay two nights at the Dona Elvira in the Colonial Zone. Then 3 nights in Cabarete. Need to visit family in Nagua on the NW coast. Any ideas how to get there from Cab?? How far please?

thanks..

Nagua is about one hour and a half drive from Cabarete (say about 150 kms). You can go by taxi or public transport (about a fifth of the price).

i would recommend the caribitours bus. fairly cheap, clean, comfortable, and with AC. Someone else will have to give you details on where the station in caberete is.

edited to add: basically nothing special to do in nagua. Not a bad place, but not all that interesting either
