Hi everyone.
Need a couple of numbers from you guys.
Apollo Taxi in Stgo. ( I am assuming they can pick us up at the aeroport) and is there a Taxi co. or car service in La Vega?

Must if be Apollo from the airport? There are lots of taxis there.

Taxis in La Vega and most likely car rental, also.

Thanks ken, I looked in the Santiago directory for car service, but listed tons of them, hoping for a recomendation, or do you think just taking anyone from the airport is safe.Do you have any idea what the fare should be?

Apolo taxi and one recommended

Hi, the Apolo Taxi phone numbers are 583-8383, 241-7000 and 971-9350.

I recommend Emi Taxi in Santiago. That's the one I always use. Its phone numbers are 581-3000 and 241-3000.

I was at the airport today. The taxis there have a board with the prices. Always visible. It's on the street between the car-rentals' offices and the parking lot. The publicated price for the Airport-La Vega ride is RD$ 650.00.

About the taxis in La Vega, a friend told me to that Taxi del Valle is a trustful company. Its phone number is 573-1313. He told me to ask for "unidad 11" (taxi #11) whose driver is called Domingo.

I hope it serves.
