My family have been visiting R.D. for 30 years and I'm presently planning my next trip with my soon-to-be wife. This will be our second trip there together and this time I'm determined to show her the beaches of Bayahibe I remember as a child. Last year, upon recomendation of a friend in La Romana, we made a day trip to an all-inclusive there but were disappointed with the beach among other things. So this year, I'm determined to find a little more seclusion, shallow waters, and white clay-like sand, I remember. If we rent a four-wheel-drive and prepare accordingly, can we find someplace resembling this:

We'll be traveling from La Romana hopefully with a detailed road map (something else I've long been searching for) a rented cell phone, and plenty of water. Can anyone help me find the type of beach I'm looking for?
