I need a birth certificate for an unregistered child

Help...

My fiancee is trying to get a birth certificate for one of her children that was not registered early enough after birth. The father is deceased and she does not have a death certificate. Does anyone know how we would go about getting this birth certificate. Are there forms available, is there an office I can call from Canada? Is there a lawyer that can assist with this?

Any help is greatly appreciated...

Father does not matter

She should go to wherever it was that she gave birth and document the birth. Then she has to file a Late Declaration of Birth. They do this all the time.

If she wants she can put down the name of the child's father, or not..whatever.

This is a tedious process and no lawyer can speed it up.

YOu are a nice guy to take all this on...
