I want you to give me your advice about where to spend a week in the DR before heading to Santo Domingo for carnival. I?m 27 and I?m travelling with my girlfriend so I want some quite place with cool beaches to rest and, as I?m a photographer, some cool spots where I can took pictures. From what I?ve read in this site Saman? seems to be the right place. I will be travelling in february so I may have the possibility to see some whales, right?
Also, please let me know about good places to stay... I?m argentinian so I have no more than U$S15 to spend per day. Obviously I?m not looking for nothing luxury... I just want something clean and a friendly ambient, and, if possible, not too far from everything.
