Sexual frustration?!

I read the thread about May to December Romance, and I was wondering if the sankies are popular and exist because they can't get a novia till they are old and own house, have money etc. I know that most of them are after money, sex or other things that they wouldn't have in their life if only a rich tourist did not pay or do it for them. But the fact that poor family would like to give in marriage their daughter to a financial independent man who can offer her a better life than she actually lives, then it discriminates the young guys of the same age of the girl. These guys in their early twenties (less or up) are in their full development on sexual plan and on life. They are new to everything and want to experiment the pleasure of life as they are ready to it. They would have seen that in other countries, most couple have roughly the same age, but chances that they can do the same in DR are limited, because first they don't have anything to offer to the girl except love + others little things (which the parents wouldn't agree and may have made it clear to the girl that's not a life she will get in return). Also, they are poor and are just starting to work, building up slowly their life as jobs are hard to find or not well-paid. However, this sexual frustration they feel because of the fact they can't have a novia of their own age and satisfy their needs (enjoying making love I should say) may lead them to making out with tourists who are more open-minded and who, under the influence of the beautiful country, won't care about the financial or age or background of the guys, because what they feel is real love and they will do anything to make it work than a poor young Dominicana would do. So here the safe exit for the sankies, to start a love-relationship sooner than waiting 20-30 years more before they can afford having a novia and release out this terrible big sexual frustration. And a plus is they can leave the country and be out of the poverty but that's a story that everybody knows in this forum so I won't dwell in it (my principal interest is not on that so please don't write too much on it as people here are bored and tired of reading that).
Also, their infidelity induced by the easy access to sex mainly, may be also caused by this sexual frustration in the first place.

So here was my thought upon the subject. Could that sexual frustration is truly present & exist basing on what I said? What do you think about it? I may have written nonsense or nonexisting things due to lack of full knowledge of the Dominican culture, sorry about that (just point me out to it, I would know for the future :)), but that's how I am thinking after reading the post mentioned above.
P.S. I am talking more about the poor sankies that seems to make up a big portion of the group. Well maybe I am redundant to say that as they are already poor, but it's just to eliminate other kind of sankies..

You're hurting my head.

Please don't confuse sankies with the rest of country.

What group are you talking about? What you read here?

Pomli: If you know anything about The DR, you'd know that if you're sexually frustrated is only because you want to. Anyone and everyone can get a novia in The DR.
Sankies have plenty of action outside of the tourists. They prey on tourists, because they are easy to get money from not because they are their only choice. In fact the opposite is true, most of these guys are "experts" at getting girls and most of them have many other dominican girls/wives on the side.
A little piece of advice, though. Next time try to break up your post into smaller paragraphs to make it a bit easier to read.

I can't define clearly the group that I want to talk about, maybe not including the expert ones, maybe specifically a sub-group of it, those who might choose the way to become sankie because of the hypotheses that I stated. I often read that sankies are classify as poor people but I don't want to include all people of the country as all poor guys are not necessarily sankies. It's easy to make big generalization, I just only wanted to look inside of the problem, not at the outside of it and make an easy comment as people are used to do that won't correlate with what is truly going on.

What I see around here with the guys in their twenties (more or less), lots of who I know are sexually active. So same must go for guys of similar ranges of age elsewhere, because human is a human, they all undergo the same changes et metamorphosis in their body around the same period of their life.

Anyways, it's just another thing that people might not have looked at, I only wanted to share it so that maybe somebody has something to say about.

Sorry Suarezn, it was late and I wanted to free my thoughts that were occupying my mind. But thanks telling me it!! I will try doing much smaller paragraphs :)

Sexual frustration could be hidden so deep in one's mind that one may not realize it as it could be easily expressed. Human is a complex mind to analyze!

I know that sankies that preying on tourists is easy way to get money and it's true that they are not their only choice. What I really wanted to say, it's maybe SOME(those who are single, NOT having wife, gf...) of them go that way because is more easy to have a love, to love than trying with the Dominican girl of their age that they really want but they know clearly that it will be impossible because of her parents.

I asked a Dominican guy about love the other day, and he told me that he doesn't like the Dominican girls. I was like what, why?! Why don't you like a girl of your own country? They live closer to you and you guys would have much easier time to be together. Also, they are the same culture, same way of living, thinking etc. He said some negative stuff about those girls and was uneasy to continue upon the subject as he did not want to add more. Still, I wasn't satisfied with what he said because it seemed that they are more important things behind it due to the fact he doesn't want to dwell much into it.

If he were truly after girls that are not of his nationality, he would have been more confident to say all negative stuff without shame about why he does not like Dominican girls so then to convince his prey that he prefers them than girls in his country. But he did not do it for some reasons and what are them? Is it because it's hard for him to get a Dominica novia because he is poor and etc? Saying the *complicate hypothetical situation* that to a tourist won't make a good impression, because if the girl knows that he is poor, she will automatically think that he is after her money and drop him. So he might be contraint to shut up upon that subject if he wants a love relationship.

And that lead me to think that maybe other guys are in the same situation as him, that choose to look for tourists for more easy acceptance. I keep reading posts here and continue learning, finding some facts that could explain his behavior. I know that this is not same for every guys everywhere in the country and I don't want to make this generalization. I am only concentrating on one case. Anywys, maybe nobody cannot validate what I wrote, as only those guys know better than us.

Anyways, let's drop that. I realize now that it won't have an end because nobody would have a concrete good answer upon the subject, except from *sankies* who know better than you and me. Wish I could erase my first post and the entire thread! Sorry to have started that discussion.

Wish I could have a population of guys identified as sankies and study them hehe! Feel for a psychological experiment :p

Frustrated

In reviewing you previous post I have found the following statements and I am a little confused as to who it is that is frustrated. It would seem that maybe it is you and not Jose.

Excerpts for your previous posts:

?I went for the first time in DR at the end of August?, ?I'm going on 21?, ?I met a chico with who I fell in love with?, ?We all need time to discover ourselves?, ?I would be tempted to tell him that life in Canada or any industralized countries is not for him?, ?my trip to DR just change entirely my life and plans for the future?.

?Has anyone met Jose Bono? He is working at the reception late afternoon to late night, and this is a really nice guy, always smiling, sociable! He even offered me to phone him so I can practice my Spanish, as I can't find people here interested to exchange only in Spanish?.

I believe that your real question is, have I fallen in love with a sankie, who has me sexually frustrated and what can I do about it?

My best advice for you is to talk to your parents and ask them if they would be willing to trade their lives today to return to the poverty they experienced in their homeland of China. My dear, forget about the Dominican Republic, forget about this man, become a chemical engineer as you plan, stay single, and live a long and prosperous life.

....

I don't know, when i was in the DR i met a lot of sankies (you could tell right off the bat who they were and what they wanted). They were obviously always around me (not being modest but a young 20y/o attractive canadian girl ), and when i told them just to leave me alone that we could be friends nothing more they got a bit mad, but they cooled down and began again as if i never told them that. Anyways, like someone also said I did the same thing, told one of them how one of the female resort workers is pretty and why doesn't he go for her or for any other dom. girl, and he points to his skin and says because she's "black", and he is black himself. I really was confused but I guess people have different tastes. Or whenever some of them would ask me to the disco (and this got annoying not a day went by for 14 days that I wasnt asked to the disco, me and my friends even counted how many times per day haha highest was 8 i believe, i forget), anyways when i refused they would ask me "is it b/c i'm black"...obviously it's not I am not racist! I just told them its cuz I have a b/f and I could only see them as friends and they would get mad (or pretend to be) and the next day continue on again. I really don't know the answer to your sexual frustration.

Hi there,
Jose Bono is not the chico I fell for. He is only a very nice and correct person that I've met, not like others that kept asking me going to disco, wanted a kiss from me and blablabla. He helped me out discovering the area by giving appreciated advices where to go and I am very thankful to him. The other guy, well I was probably out of mind and too fast writing that I fell for as it occurred in a bad moment in my life with my bf, but anyways, things are better now, and I still deeply love my bf. Thus, there is nothing here linked with what so ever between those guys and my post. End of story.
