I have some variation on this similar question asked in another thread.

1) What is the "offical name" for the notarized document (it is notarized)??

2) Does it make a difference whether or not you're just traveling or immigrating to another country; for example, does the document have to be specific and can it be used more then once?

3) Does the father have to come into the lawyers office to sign (how is the part with the father's signature usually done)?

4) How much in$RD should it cost for one of these documents??

Thanks.

1) The Ministry of Interior calls it ?Acta Notarial?.

2) No, it doesn?t make a difference. The permit is valid for 30 days.

3) Yes, the father should sign in presence of the Notary.

4) The ?Acta Notarial? has to be ?legalized? at the Attorney General?s Office in Santo Domingo. Total cost should around $100 to $150 US.

Thanks for the reply

Mr. Guzman thanks for the reply. I'll admit I'm a bit surprise at the cost for the "Acta Notarial".
