Course slope.

While there is more to a course than its slope, Playa Grande is 126 at 6200 yds. Playacar is much more difficult at 136. To be a golf destination, you need more than 1 course, and 1 must be difficult. The 'Teeth of the Dog' is 129 at 6000 yds.
You are right. There is a lot more to a golf course than the slope. I played a lot of courses in my life. Occasionally, I skip the office to hack
away at the local golf course just outside Toronto. Slope 134. Green
fees $32 CAN. The condition of fairways and greens...terrible. It's a
cow pasture as we say here! But it's a difficult, very difficult course.
This is not a good golf course even if the slope is high.
Golfers are looking to find a course where they can have fun, play well,
score well and above all be outdoors at a dream scenery of paradise.
Playa Grande is the right place. If extra holes are added then it will
be "the place".
Sounds like you are a golfer. Here is a tip given to me by a good Austrian
friend. "Every time you look up you are gonna see a bad shot".
Next time I tee up, the first shot is for you, Saludos...Georgios.
