For those of you who know and love Alan & Mary, I am sorry to announce that Alan's dad lost his life yesterday and the police are treating it like a homicide.

To Alan & Mary.
I feel your pain, like it was my own dad.

Terrible news, Marco.

A death from natural causes is hard enough on a loving family, homicide would be much worse.

Barbara and I also feel their pain.

Being in law enforcement here in New York I often see this. However, when it touches people that I know it hurts even more. My prayers go out to you and your family Alan.
