I was wondering if anyone knows of any books on plants and birds in the DR? I was also wondering if there are any good places that I could look for them in the DR? particularly the north coast (Puerto Plata)

that one of the first is Anabela Dodd's Birds of the Dominican Republic.
On a long ago thread, someone posted that this work has been surpassed by more modern writers. If you do a search on this site you might find this.
As for plants, There should be something at the Botanical Garden in Santo Domingo. I don't know, sorry.
