Ive just read up on some travel advisory about people returning from Punta Cana with mysterious stomach illness. Im traveling there this sunday. Staying at the sunscape grande in Punta Cana. Has anyone heard more about this or worse, experienced it? What can i do to prepare?

Check the Health Canada website. It's been diagnosed as Norwalk, both from Punta Cana and Puerto Plata, one aircraft had Regina travellers delayed on the tarmac 3 hours, 8 - 12 people ill. A second aircraft was in Ottawa where 5 people were ill, both incidents were on Tuesday night, from Canada.com news.
