Musical Instrument Shops in DR

Does anyone have any info on music shops in the DR ? I'm particularly interested in keyboards, amps, mics, etc. How is the selection, general availability, pricing compared to Canada/USA etc.

Prices for that stuff is usually 2X the pricing of Canada or the US. Look in the paper's Classifieds and see if you can't find what you need.

HB has got it right. The selection is really poor, I've checked out most of the music instrument/equipment shops in SD and one is worse than the next. Not much high end equipment, really poor quality used junk and the prices are way high. There are quite a few online instrument discounters, probably best to order online and have it shipped.

I noticed a lot of these stores in SD on 30 de Marzo, between Av. de Mexico and 27 de Febrero, just North from the Zona Colonial
