For those you are waiting for immigration to have family members join them in Canada, have patience. My mother-in-law received her landed immigrant paperwork today from the Canadian Embassy. What that means is that she has 6 months to come to CANADA or she has to start the process over. 2 years almost to the day. The time is much longer for parents than it is for bringing in a spouse. So for those waiting, don't give up.
