Active blogs will be added to the menu on the left hand side
of the main blog page.

You can blog about anything you want, unless it's illegal.
Yes, we reserve the right to delete your blog if we or any
law enforcement agency has issues with the content.

By the way, any stupid posts on the above will be deleted along with that
posters ability to have a DR1 Blog.

  • What's a blog?
  • Can I show naked photos?
  • What about a "I hate DR1" blog?

You cannot use your message board username and password to login :)

I mean without registering. The username and password database are completely different.

Yes, you can use the same username and password, but you need to register them first on the blog sign up form.

Does that make sense?

Can you create a permanent link from the main page to a user log-in? That way when I got my blog in favorites I am one step away from signing in.

Not sure what you mean?

Right now it goes straight to http://www.dr1.com/blogs/login.php which is the login page. With one click you can go from the home page to this page.

I don't want compare you with the blogspot.platform, but I will since that is what I am used to. :) At the top of any blog on blogspot there is a link for members to log in. You provide access via the dr1 homepage....I just would like a link on my blog page that goes direct to the log-in, not just dr1.com. Err, hope this makes sense.

We are doing some updates so they are down right now,
I'm waiting for an updated file to fix a problem.

However the pre-requisite verification email has NOT arrived!
Soooo.......now what????? :glasses:

If you had a blog prior to February 15th, I have some bad new for you, it's not working anymore. The upgrade corrupted entries, so they basically became useless. Fortunately we only had a few entries, so it was not that bad, just very
frustrating. Yes my blog got burned in the mess as well.

What now?

I'm happy to say we are back 100%, the new version is working great.
You will need to open up a new account if you want a blog.

Check your Hotmail bulk email box. Make sure Hotmail is not filtering out the email.

It didn't show up in my synchronized mailbox but when I went directly to Hotmail......there it was sitting in my "junk Mail" box.

at the risk of being considered the stupidest, bimbo-iest, member online but what exactly is a blog???? i know robert you said not to ask this question but i'm lost (and probably thick!!) what i can gather its a bit of a story telling, ranting and raving area??? am i on the right track..??

i feel so stoooooppppiiiddddd...

Your blog is whatever you want it to be. There are millions of them, in all shapes and sizes, and there are no real rules.

In simple terms, a blog is a web site, where you write stuff on an ongoing basis. New stuff shows up at the top, so your visitors can read what's new. Then they comment on it or link to it or email you. Or not.
