I am visiting with my daughter Mainegirl in April and, living just north of the 45th parallel, I can only imagine how different the DR is. Today, all work is cancelled because of the gentle snowstorm intent on leaving behind 50cm of accumulation. No thoughts of growing today, either.
Where we live it is quite some distance to reach Ag vendors for equipment and everything is impoprted for the small grower. Industrial ag equipment is made in the US, but small scale needs come from countries for whom small scale is an important part of their economy.
Could someone list any ag vendor websites that I could look at? I am interested in both equipment and consumables (seeds and soil amendments).
