I'm in search of a reliable person who can do simple corporate document searches for me at the Registro Mercantil in Santo Domingo. Are there services set up for this in S.D.? I am reluctant to pay an attorney a high hourly rate since there is no legal knowledge required, just patience and persistence, I presume. I contacted the Chamber to see if they can help or know of such a service but I am more than willing to pay an honest local person who may have rudimentary knowledge of how the system works there.
