Apartment rental

Ok, so maybe I am not using the search function as I should. I have a question concerning apartment rental in Santiago. How much do studio type apartments rent for in Santiago? What I am talking about is a place that is just one large room w/kitchen facilities and a very, very small bathroom.

Not many of those...

I spent a few days looking for apartments in Santiago. I did not see one studio like apartment. In fact, only about 1 of the 20 or so I saw only had one bedroom. I am no expert, but I think that is an anamoly here in the city. You should probably plan on getting a two bedroom. Prices vary considerably. US $150-$800.

one more thing...

you may want to consider a hotel that has that type of room. I think they are called "apart-hotels".
