Ferries to Puerto Rico, and entrance into Haiti

My friend and I might be going to the DR this winter and were wondering if ANY BODY knows ANYTHING about ferries to Puerto Rico...where? and how much? etc ALSO what is it like to get into Haiti nowadays??

The ferry is advertising the round trip Monday to Sunday for US$59 (don't think this rate includes taxes). Departures from Santo Domingo to Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday. A charge of US$23 for port taxes is mentioned. The ship is the Regal Voyager, and the abvove offer is valid from July through 19 November.
