hi can you still get ?s changed into pesos at hotels banks etc got travellers checks a few dollars was going to bring pounds to change

You will be much better off if you change your ?'s into US$ in England before you go.......the exchange rate is roughly 1.8$ to the ? which is really good......also if you are left with $ then its easy to convert back to ? when you get home.

I suggest you bring American Express Travellers checks, in $US. They are easily changed in banks, etc. Never change money on the street! It is not wise to carry large sums of cash, so just change what you need for a few days. Be sure to keep the T.C. numbers apart from the T.Cs. Carry the T.Cs securely ON YOUR PERSON, NOT IN A HANDBAG. Enjoy your Vacation in the sun!. Canadian Bob.

Western Union on the carretera in POP has always given me the same rate for traveler's checks as for cash.
