I know that products are available outside the DR that allow you to prime and then paint over existing ceramic tiles. Got a whole bunch of way bad ugly bathroom wall tiles and would love to change the look without tearing them out and starting over.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Dianne

I have all the answers!

I was shopping for this stuff last weekend!

Buy the Primer 1-2-3 in Cuesta (Plaza Naco) at $1350 (If you're in Santo Domingo that is)

or Kilz Total One Primer at Matices, S A (a bit more expensive)

than finish with an oil paint.

Or
Use pool paint but it is more expensive and really hard to apply!

Good luck!

Many thanks Juanita........

I'll have to give these a try. Even if the paint is a little pricey, it will be less expensive than having new tile installed. This place is starting to be a bit of a "money pit" and I'm continually looking for cheaper solutions to decorating dilemmas.

Thank you again.
