Swimming in the DR

Hi,

I am in the process of relocating to the DR with my family. We have choosen to move to Sosua.

I was wondering if there are any formal swimming lessons offered in the Sosua area or any part of the DR.

I contacted the Red Cross in Canada and they are unaware of any programs being run through their organization.

Do you mean lessons, as learn how to Swim, or do you mean Swimming like in training? For adults or kids?
My son who is 14 goes in training in Puerto Plata, but that is not lessons, it is clear training for contests etc.

I live in Sosua but have not heard of swimming lessons being offered. You can find somebody able to help with almost anything, including, I would think, teaching somebody how to swim, but I know of no formal program.
