taking a Car from Toronto to DR

I got a question for any dude that can help me here:

I would like to get a used car in Toronto model or year sort of from 1991 to 1997 (not a junk). I mean a car in good shape.

Can some one tell me if this is posssible to bring it into D.R; regarding that I dont know the policy about accepting cars in DR under 1998 ?

any answer will be help.

Not sure myself but from previous discussions on this topic, if I remember correctly , the age limit on importing vehicles to RD is 5 years...
