I have a firearm collection and am relocating to the DR. Any chance I can bring my collection with me?

It will take some doing.
Owning firearms in the DR is not considered a right, so you will have to do a lot of talking and friend making.
IF your weapons are museum pieces, I think it would be possible of establish the fact to the satisfaction of the authorities, and then bring them in.
IF, in fact, your weapons are functioning firearms, You should know that it costs over $200 per weapon for the yearly permits. And that's dollars, not pesos.
You might be better off selling your collection and bringing your favorite here, after you have established your permanent residence here. Like I said, it will be complicated....
